INTERIORS

Our interior decorating service will give your home a beautiful finish from top to bottom. We begin by carefully preparing all surfaces, scraping away loose material, opening up any splits, and sanding to achieve a smooth base. Holes or splits are filled, using flexible filler where needed, and remaining gaps are caulked, including along the joins between walls and ceilings. Once the preparation is complete, every surface is vacuumed and wiped down to remove dust and ensure proper paint adhesion. We then apply one or more coats of full-matt paint to the ceiling, followed by two coats of your chosen colour on the walls. We always tidy up thoroughly, leaving your space spotless and ready for you to enjoy your home’s new look.
WOODWORK
Full Restoration
We provide a comprehensive restoration service for both interior and exterior woodwork, combining our craftsmanship with high-quality modern materials. Every surface is meticulously prepared, removing all loose material and thoroughly sanding the wood before repairing or replacing any damaged or rotten sections using durable timber and epoxy resin fillers. Any loose putty is replaced with a professional-grade glazing sealant to ensure lasting protection. Areas which need protecting such as the glass, surrounding brickwork or masonry will be taped off before painting.
We then apply a flexible primer that enhances adhesion and durability, lightly sanding it to create a smooth surface. A flexible sealant is used to close any remaining gaps, followed by two coats of long-lasting woodwork paint in your chosen colour. The result is beautifully restored woodwork that not only looks exceptional but is built to withstand the elements for years to come.
Painting
When your woodwork is already in good condition, it may not require a full restoration. In this case, we will still take the correct steps in preparing and finishing it to achieve an aesthetically pleasing and long-lasting result.
Each surface is carefully sanded to ensure the correct paint adhesion. Any holes or splits are expertly repaired with premium wood filler, while all gaps are neatly caulked for a seamless appearance. The surfaces are then thoroughly vacuumed and wiped down to remove any dust, allowing the paint to bond perfectly. A high-quality primer is applied before one or more topcoats are applied, leaving an elegant finish that enhances and brightens the entire space.
Staining / Varnishing
We are able to provide finishing solutions for wood which has been stained, oiled, or varnished that ensure a rich, even surface that enhances and protects the natural beauty of the wood.
Woodwork is meticulously sanded using a combination of professional tools and techniques to ensure every centimetre is taken back to bare wood where necessary. A mechanical sander with a dust extraction system will be used for the majority of the work, keeping dust to an absolute minimum. Once sanding is complete, all remaining dust is removed with a vacuum, and the surfaces are carefully cleaned using the appropriate cleaning agent to ensure perfect adhesion. The chosen stain or varnish is then expertly applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
EXTERNAL
MASONRY
External decorating gives your house the vital protection it needs whilst simultaneously enhancing its appearance. A professionally finished exterior provides a durable barrier against the elements, shielding surfaces from weather damage and helping to reduce possible issues such as damp, mould, and decay.
We begin by removing any loose or flaking material from the surface, followed by a thorough clean using a fungicidal wash. Any areas which are not sound are stabilised to provide a solid foundation for the paint. We carefully fill all significant holes using the appropriate filler. Once these repairs are complete, we prime any unpainted areas to enhance the adhesion and coverage. Finally, we apply two coats of high-quality masonry paint in your chosen colour. The result is a beautifully refreshed exterior that not only looks fantastic but also stands up to the elements for years to come.
PROBLEM
SURFACES
We are able to prepare a variety of problem surfaces including peeling paint, mould, cracks, stains, or uneven textures to ensure the surface is stable and ready for painting. An example of this might be an area which has high moisture content such as a bathroom, or an exterior wall which has been exposed to rain for a long period of time.
Before applying any paint to these areas, we will prepare and repair by using a variety of cleaning products, primers, fillers, and undercoats before applying the finishing coats to make sure the new paint adheres properly and stays looking brighter for longer.
